Dr. Elizabeth Markman is a licensed clinical professional counselor (LCPC) and board-certified registered art therapist (ATR-BC) who obtained her PhD in Art Therapy from Adler University. Elizabeth uses a wide variety of expressive art forms in her practice as well as talk therapy.

Elizabeth works with a diverse range of clients in both group and individual sessions and offers a safe, non-judgmental environment that supports her clients as they move towards healing and personal growth. Elizabeth has a passion for incorporating the arts into psychotherapy that is rooted in her own experiences as an artist.

Elizabeth believes that part of the therapeutic process is to rouse the creative life-force energy. Thus, creativity and therapy overlap. What is creative is frequently therapeutic and what is therapeutic is frequently a creative process.

If you are in need of support please reach out. You deserve to feel seen, heard, and worth the energy it takes to heal. To contact Elizabeth, you can reach her at emarkman@heartconnections.art
